Our Story

You’re So Beautiful, Inc. (YSB) is a New Haven–based nonprofit dedicated to educating, empowering, and inspiring young females of color to embrace self-love and build confidence.

What began in 2019 as a single community event—an afternoon of encouragement, creativity, and connection—has grown into a full nonprofit organization serving girls ages 8–18 from underserved communities. Today, YSB provides monthly workshops and hands-on activities that promote self-esteem, healthy relationships, life skills, and positive self-expression in a safe and welcoming space.

Our vision is to nurture the next generation of confident, empowered young women by helping them understand their worth, embrace their voices, and thrive in every area of life.
